Peach & Lee’s new double album ‘Not For Sale,’ is the sum and story of a lost decade of work by two talented lifelong childhood friends, Arlis Peach and Larry Lee, who growing up in the Mid-West were hard bitten by the rock-n-roll magic of the 50’s. And by the mid 60’s they were writing and recording their own unique style of music drawing from all those early influences.
Some may remember Peach and Lee by their praised yet ill fated RCA single “Hold On” from 1972, which has now become a rare collectors item. “Not For Sale” could easily have been a followup album to that single… only much much better. 27 previously unreleased, remastered originals!
Peach and Lee’s ‘Not For Sale’ is a genuine lost chapter in the history of pop music. An unopened time capsule of Pure Pop with echoes of everything from The Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry and Elvis to The Dave Clark 5, The Beatles and Badfinger. Having taken 50 years to be released this one of a kind album is destined to be yet another collectors item from the likes of Peach And Lee.
